About Project
Obootaar the speaking elephant is a platform for audio storytelling and listening in different Indian languages. It enables the voice recording of short audio stories. Storytellers will be able to connect and collaborate with peers and create albums of short stories. Albums can also be created by inviting peers to add to the stories in the album. The app provides the storytellers the option to categories stories under different genres, create groups with peers and publish stories which may be in public or private mode. Audio feedback for albums aims to enhance the storytelling experience with peers and groups.
Problem Statement
- Obo lacked a consistent and high-quality audio experience, limiting their appeal and engagement among users.Â
- Additionally, they faced the challenge of limited reach, failing to effectively reach and connect with a diverse global audience of story enthusiasts.
Approach
- We developed a dynamic mobile application that seamlessly connects storytellers and listeners, creating a vibrant platform for the promotion and sharing of captivating audio stories.Â
- Through our app, storytellers can easily showcase their narratives, while listeners can engage with a diverse range of content, fostering a community of passionate storytellers and avid audiences.
Result
- Our app made it possible for users to create, upload, share, and listen to audio and video files of stories from anywhere and on anytime.
